Subject Requirements
- Normally a UK 2:2 honours degree or international equivalent in a relevant or suitably quantitative subject

Academic requirements
- For Bangladesh applicants, Aston maps a UK 2:2-equivalent Master's entry requirement to approximately CGPA 2.6/4.0 or 65%, a UK 2:1 equivalent to CGPA 3.0/4.0 or 75%, and a UK First equivalent to CGPA 3.4/4.0 or 85%. The applicant must hold a relevant Bachelor's degree and meet any course-specific subject requirements.
English Language Requirements
- Engineering and Physical Sciences postgraduate requirement: IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with minimum 5.5 in each component, or accepted equivalent. Engineering Systems and Management programmes may require IELTS 6.5 with 6.0 in each component.
Additional Requirements
- January 2027 International Community Scholarship: £4,000 automatic tuition discount for eligible international applicants holding an offer for a full-time on-campus postgraduate taught programme who pay their deposit by the offer acceptance deadline. MBA, MRes, postgraduate research, online courses, OSPAP and Physician Associate Practice are excluded. A competitive Sir Adrian Cadbury Chancellor's Scholarship worth £10,000 may also be available subject to eligibility. Scholarships cannot normally be combined
