About the Program

A two-year pre-registration route to HCPC registration as a physiotherapist. Taught at the Clerkenwell campus.

Subject Requirements

• Pre-registration nursing, midwifery, allied health and physician associate places are subject to NHS commissioning, DBS clearance, occupational health screening and interview. Availability to overseas fee payers is limited - confirm with Admissions before promoting to a student.

Academic requirements

• Normally a UK upper second-class honours degree (2:1) or overseas equivalent
• some courses accept a 2:2. BANGLADESH EQUIVALENCE (published by City St George's): four-year Bachelor degrees (from 2024 onwards, or from any year for selected universities), BSc Engineering, five-year Medicine/Dentistry/Veterinary Science, and BArch from a public university are accepted. First Class = GPA 3.5/4.0 or 70%
• 2:1 = GPA 3.25/4.0 or 65%
• 2:2 = GPA 3.0/4.0 or 60%. Selected universities accepted from any year: Bangladesh University of Professionals, BRAC University Dhaka, BUET, CUET, Daffodil International University, East West, Independent University Dhaka, KUET, North South, RUET, University of Chittagong, University of Dhaka, United International University. Other Bachelor degrees considered case by case. Relevant professional experience may be considered where formal qualifications fall short.

English Language Requirements

• IELTS Academic 7.5 overall with a minimum of 7.0 in each sub-skill (NMC/HCPC registration standard for pre-registration nursing, midwifery and allied health). No waiver available.

Additional Requirements

• No application fee for direct applications to City St George's. Bayes Masters courses require a non-refundable GBP 2,000 deposit on accepting an offer. Alumni of legacy City or legacy St George's receive a 20% Graduate Loyalty Discount. School-level scholarships are available, including the Global STEM Leadership Masters Scholarship (up to 50% of tuition) for applications submitted before 15 April. Pre-Masters and foundation routes are available through the City St George's International Study Centre.
