About the Program
A graduate-entry route to NMC registration as an adult nurse, for applicants with existing care experience and a prior degree. Delivered at: Coventry campus / Vauxhall, London / CU Scarborough.
Subject Requirements
- NMC registration route: DBS clearance, occupational health screening and interview required. Places for overseas fee payers are limited - confirm with Admissions.
Academic requirements
- Normally a UK second-class honours degree (2:2) or overseas equivalent
- some courses require a 2:1. Bangladeshi applicants: a four-year Bachelor degree is normally required
- a three-year Bachelor plus Masters is also accepted. Relevant professional experience considered where formal qualifications fall short. Verify the country-specific requirement at coventry.ac.uk/international-students-hub/entry-requirements/
English Language Requirements
- IELTS Academic 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in writing and 7.0 in reading, listening and speaking (NMC requirement). No waiver.
Additional Requirements
- No application fee. International applicants are normally required to sit a credibility interview before CAS is issued. Deposit should be paid around three months ahead of the start date. Coventry graduates receive a 25% discount on postgraduate tuition. Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship: GBP 2,500 (PG) or up to GBP 4,000 (UG). Early payment discount of GBP 2,000 has been offered in past cycles.
