Subject Requirements
- Set per course - a related first degree is expected for engineering and computing routes.
Academic requirements
- Normally a UK second-class honours degree (2:2) or overseas equivalent
- some courses require a 2:1. Bangladeshi applicants: a four-year Bachelor degree, or a three-year Bachelor plus Masters, is normally expected. Relevant professional experience is considered for the MBA and some management courses. Confirm the country-specific requirement at dmu.ac.uk/international/en/entry-requirements.aspx
English Language Requirements
- IELTS Academic 6.0-6.5 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component, depending on the course. Pre-sessional English available through DMU's Centre for English Language Learning (CELL). NOT VERIFIED per course - confirm on the course page.
Additional Requirements
- No application fee. DMU graduates receive an Alumni Scholarship worth up to 20% off tuition. DMU recruits formally through approved education agents and publishes agent resources. IMPORTANT: DMU's international midyear intake for the 2026/27 cycle is FEBRUARY 2027, not January. The confirmed February 2027 course list had not been published at the time this file was built.
