About the Program
A flexible part-time postgraduate ultrasound programme developing science, instrumentation and specialist ultrasound-practice skills, with progression from PgCert to PGDip and MSc.
Subject Requirements
- A recognised professional qualification or first degree (minimum 2:2) in a relevant healthcare subject such as medicine, physiotherapy, radiography, osteopathy, chiropractic, sports and exercise medicine or nursing, together with professional registration and an appropriate clinical workplace/placement agreement.
Academic requirements
- International qualifications and professional registration are assessed individually. Applicants must have the required clinical workplace arrangements and professional status.
English Language Requirements
- IELTS Academic 7.0 overall with no section below 6.5, or accepted equivalent.

- Location: Bournemouth. January 2027 applications are available for PgCert, PGDip and MSc. IMPORTANT: HSU states it cannot sponsor overseas students requiring a UK Student visa for this course.
