About the Program
A pre-registration Master's developing clinical, diagnostic and treatment skills required for professional podiatry practice and eligibility to apply for HCPC registration.
Subject Requirements
- Minimum 2:2 (Hons) degree in any discipline other than podiatry. Applicants without a science/healthcare degree should demonstrate prior science study, ideally biology, behavioural science, health-professional education and/or research methodology.
Academic requirements
- An overseas qualification must be assessed as equivalent to at least a UK 2:2 honours degree. Relevant prior science evidence is required where the first degree is not in science or healthcare.
English Language Requirements
- IELTS Academic 7.0 overall with no section below 6.5, or accepted equivalent.
Additional Requirements
- Location: Bournemouth. Interview required. Enhanced criminal-record/DBS-equivalent, occupational-health and vaccination checks apply. The course includes around 1,000 hours of placement learning.
