About the Program
A pre-registration Master's preparing graduates to assess and support communication and swallowing needs across the lifespan, with professional placements and eligibility to apply for HCPC registration.
Subject Requirements
- Minimum 2:2 (Hons) degree in a relevant subject such as psychology, language, linguistics, biological science, medical science, childhood or education studies
- significant recent relevant work experience may also be considered.
Academic requirements
- An overseas qualification must be assessed as equivalent to at least a UK 2:2 honours degree in an appropriate subject. HSU assesses international qualifications individually.
English Language Requirements
- IELTS Academic 8.0 overall with no section below 7.5, or accepted equivalent meeting the professional standard.
Additional Requirements
- Location: Bournemouth. Interview required. Three mandatory clinical placements form part of the course
- professional suitability and health/criminal-record checks may apply.
