Subject Requirements

  • Relevant law degree or closely related academic background, depending on research route.

Academic requirements

  • Normally at least a UK 2:1 honours degree or international equivalent in a relevant subject. Many PhD routes also normally require a relevant Master's degree. Course-specific requirements apply.

English Language Requirements

  • Usually IELTS Academic 6.5 overall or accepted equivalent
