Advanced architecture programme centred on design studio, critical practice and research, supporting progression toward professional architectural qualification where applicable.
Subject Requirements
A relevant Architecture degree/Part 1-equivalent background is required for MArch
design portfolio and related evidence may be required for international applicants.
Academic requirements
Normally a 2:1 Honours degree in Architecture from an approved RIBA/ARB Part 1 course or recognised equivalent
normally 60%+ in the final-year major design project. Lower classifications may be considered case by case.
English Language Requirements
IELTS 6.5 overall
normally minimum 6.0 in Speaking and Listening and 5.5 in Reading and Writing for the 2026 Architecture route.
Additional Requirements
International MArch applicants are normally asked for an architectural design portfolio and may be invited to interview
RIBA/ARB Part 1-equivalent background is relevant. A tuition deposit is required.
Documents Required
Degree transcript(s), degree award certificate(s) for completed qualifications, certified English translations where applicable, English-language evidence, details of two referees, and a personal statement where the course asks for one. If the degree is in progress, submit results to date.
