About the Program
A practice-led filmmaking master's that develops storytelling and technical skills across producing, directing, screenwriting, cinematography, editing and sound design, supported by professional film facilities.
Subject Requirements
A good honours degree or equivalent qualification in a related discipline and/or relevant work experience demonstrating the ability to study at postgraduate level.
Academic requirements
Bangladesh: normally a 4-year Bachelor's degree with 65% overall. UCA also states that students from NSU, BRAC, IUB, East West, AIUB, Bangladesh University of Professionals, BUET, and government/private universities under Bangladesh UGC may be considered with 55% in a 3-year degree programme. Course-specific requirements also apply.
English Language Requirements
IELTS 6.5 overall with no section below 5.5, or another UCA-approved English-language qualification.
Additional Requirements
Campus: Farnham. January 2027 enrolment and induction: 18–22 January 2027
Term 1 starts 25 January 2027. Portfolio: Required. UCA asks applicants to provide relevant moving-image work and clearly identify their role in the productions.
