About the Program
The MRes Leadership and Management at the University of Derby is designed to develop advanced research, critical thinking and analytical skills for managers, leaders and professionals. The programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical research skills and includes research methodology modules and a specialist dissertation. Students can specialise in areas including Leadership and Management, Human Resource Management, International Relations, Project Management, Sustainable Strategic Development, Tourism/Hospitality, Marketing, Supply Chain and Logistics, Business Analytics and Applied Artificial Intelligence.

Academic requirements
- Honours degree with 2:1 or above or international equivalent
- OR
- 2:2 honours degree in a business-related subject
- OR
- 2:2 honours degree in another subject with relevant experience
- Applicants with a 2:2 from another subject must demonstrate managerial or leadership experience, such as managing a team or project.
English Language Requirements
- IELTS Academic with Minimum Score 6.5 overall
- No individual component below 5.5
- Equivalent English language qualifications accepted

- Relevant managerial or leadership experience may be required depending on academic background
- CV should demonstrate leadership or managerial responsibilities
- Personal Statement should explain career aspirations and reasons for choosing the UK and University of Derby
