About the Program

The MRes Medical Sciences is designed for intercalating medical students, clinicians and graduates who want to pursue research careers in medicine and bioscience. Students develop advanced research skills and scientific-method training and apply these skills to an original research project. Research can cover areas including medicine, surgery, bioinformatics, molecular and cellular technologies, physiology, medical imaging, medical devices, nanotechnology, psychology and qualitative research.
