Subject Requirements

• Normally a 2:2 degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a closely related subject.

Academic requirements

• For Bangladesh, normally a recognised 4-year Bachelor's degree, or a 2/3-year Bachelor's plus a Master's degree, with CGPA 2.7/4.0 for standard postgraduate entry. Courses requiring a UK 2:1/high 2:1 may require a stronger result. Normally a 2:2 degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a closely related subject.

English Language Requirements

• Normally IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with no component below 5.5, or accepted equivalent. Course-specific English requirements may be higher.

• Liverpool Excellence Scholarship for Postgraduates: eligible self-funded international students with a First-Class-equivalent undergraduate degree can receive a £7,000 tuition fee discount on eligible postgraduate taught Master's courses at Liverpool campus in 2026/27. Award is subject to full eligibility criteria. A tuition fee deposit is required after accepting an offer. Deposit deadline for January 2027 Master's courses is 8 January 2027.
