About the Program
Develops knowledge of construction planning, project delivery, cost, contracts, BIM and sustainable construction.
Subject Requirements
- Construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, architecture, project management or related built-environment subject.
Academic requirements
- For Bangladesh applicants, normally a 4-year Bachelor's degree with at least 60% or CGPA 2.6/4.0 from an Abertay-recognised institution, in a subject related to the chosen postgraduate course. Some courses may have additional subject or professional requirements.
English Language Requirements
- IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no component below 5.5, or accepted equivalent. PTE Academic: 59 overall with minimum 59 in each component. Duolingo: 105 overall with 95 in each element. Oxford ELLT: 6 overall with minimum 5 in speaking, reading and listening and 6 in writing.
Additional Requirements
- Eligible international students may receive the Abertay International Scholarship up to £3,000, Dean's Scholarship up to £5,000, or Principal's Excellence Scholarship up to £7,000. Awards are subject to eligibility and University discretion. Bangladesh residents are currently required to pay 100% of the net tuition fee before CAS. For January 2027 Bangladesh applicants: application deadline 19 October 2026
