Subject Requirements

  • Finance, accounting, economics, business or another relevant quantitative subject preferred.

Academic requirements

  • For Bangladesh applicants, standard postgraduate entry normally requires a recognised 4-year Bachelor's degree with minimum 55% / B- / GPA 2.75. A 2+2 or 3+1 route may be considered with minimum 55% / GPA 2.75 in a Master's degree. Individual courses may require a relevant subject, portfolio, interview, professional registration or higher academic profile. Finance, accounting, economics, business or another relevant quantitative subject preferred.

English Language Requirements

  • Most courses require IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5, or accepted equivalent. PTE Academic 59 overall with minimum 59 in each skill is accepted for IELTS 6.0/5.5 equivalency. Some law, health, education or professional courses may require a higher score.

Additional Requirements

  • BCU's direct-entry international scholarship for January 2027 has not yet been published on the current scholarship page. The 2026 postgraduate scheme offered £3,000 to eligible self-funded international PGT students, but do not assume this carries forward to January 2027 until BCU confirms it. International students normally pay an initial deposit and 50% of tuition before CAS. January 2027 post-enrolment instalment dates are 31 March 2027, 30 June 2027 and 27 August 2027.
