About the Program
This MSc Computing and Information Technology programme combines technical computing knowledge with strategic IT planning, leadership and project management. It covers information security, data analytics, business process analysis, IT management and programming for data analysis. Students develop practical and analytical skills through projects, case studies, laboratory-based learning and a Technology Dissertation. The September intake also offers an optional Industrial Placement sandwich route, subject to eligibility.

Academic requirements
- Undergraduate honours degree or equivalent with minimum 2:2 classification
- OR
- Suitable professional qualification from an appropriate professional body
- Relevance may be assessed through the applicant's transcript and, where required, an interview.
English Language Requirements
- IELTS Academic with Minimum Score 6.0 overall
- No component below 5.5
- PTE Academic: 59 overall with minimum 59 in each skill area
- Equivalent English language qualifications accepted
Additional Requirements
- Interest in computing, information technology and digital transformation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Relevant IT or computing experience is beneficial
- Professional qualification holders may be interviewed
- Industrial Placement route is available for eligible September intake students
