Postgraduate research programme in Anthropological Studies, based on an original supervised research project leading to a thesis and the development of advanced independent research skills.
Subject Requirements
The proposed research topic must fit the School's research expertise and available supervision
a relevant academic background is required. Some Schools expect prior research training or a relevant Master's.
Academic requirements
Normally at least a UK Upper Second-Class (2:1) Honours degree or an equivalent qualification acceptable to Queen's. Bangladeshi qualifications are assessed against the University's country equivalencies
a relevant Master's may be required/advantageous depending on the research area.
English Language Requirements
IELTS 6.5 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component, unless the individual course specifies a different band.
Additional Requirements
A suitable supervisor/research fit is essential. A research proposal is required and some projects may carry bench fees or specific funding/technical requirements.
